IndiaWood2016, is one of the world’s largest biennial woodworking event bringing together market leaders in furniture production, woodworking machinery, tools, fittings, accessories, raw materials and woodworking related products sector to participate in a unique international display of competence.
In 2016, the 9th edition of IndiaWood will be held from February 25 to 29 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). Leveraging the success of its previous editions, over 650 leading global companies from 40 countries are expected to participate showcasing their latest technology, innovation and product offerings to a projected 40,000 attendees from across the globe.
The show floor of IndiaWood 2016 will span over 40,000 square meters of woodworking solutions, machineries, materials and components. The exhibitors will be categorized into machinery and non-machinery profiles and will be in dedicated halls.
INDIAWOOD is the biggest sourcing platform for furniture manufacturers, wood based handicraft manufacturers, saw millers, craftsmen, woodworking professionals, architects and interior designers in the region.
Bangalore has been home to INDIAWOOD since its modest beginning in 1999. INDIAWOOD was conceived to cater to the boom in the Indian woodworking industry with the objective of providing an educative & beneficial platform. As the Indian economy grew, it also opened up opportunities for the woodworking industry.
INDIAWOOD in 1999 started with 3000sqm & 103 participants from India and Overseas. The 2002 show doubled in size to a 6000sqm exhibition showcasing 220 participants from 22 countries. The 2004, 2006, 2008 & editions set new benchmarks in the woodworking industry.

With over 38,000sqm of exhibition space, INDIAWOOD 2014 once again established its position as the single largest sourcing ground for woodworking technologies for the entire Asian woodworking community. The event had 580 participants with over 50% of participation from the overseas companies & country pavilions from Germany, Italy, Malaysia, China, USA, Taiwan, Turkey, Canada, France and Sri Lanka.
